Summary:
HAEP is excited to invite you to our virtual Round Table chat, covering water quality. This will include a discussion on water quality issues, as well as a webinar viewing. Plus, the first 20 people to register will receive a FREE drink ticket (e-gift card)!
The round table discussion will cover topics consisting of groundwater, stormwater, drinking water quality and others. To spur the discussion, we'll be hosting a replay of the NAEP presentation on the recent County of Maui v. Hawaii Wildlife Fund case: "Supreme Court Clean Water Act Decision April 23, 2020: What Does it Mean for Future Groundwater Permitting?" During this case, the Supreme Court determined whether a Section 402 permit is required when pollutants originate from a point source but are conveyed to navigable waters via groundwater. Panelists discuss what the results of the case mean for future groundwater permitting. For more information about the topic, check out this link here. The webinar itself is usually $75-$140, but we'll be including it during our event!
