Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair
Since its inception, the Hawaii Association of Environmental Professionals has been an active participant in the annual Hawaii State Science and Engineering Fair. Each year, students from all across the state submit projects covering a wide range of science and engineering disciplines. From these submittals, approximately 400 projects are selected for display.
HAEP evaluates student submittals that have an environmental focus, and provides cash awards for the top projects in the Junior and Senior Divisions, as well as for the top Teacher/Mentor.
All HAEP members and friends are eligible and encouraged to volunteer as judges. One of the great pleasures of judging is talking with the enthusiastic students about their projects. Those who have judged in past years have consistently given the experience a thumbs up.
